Rocky Patel 15th Anniversary
July 12, 2010
Check out Brian's review of the Gran Habano Azteca for details on how to win Cigars and Swag.
In keeping with the trend, we thought it would be a good idea to put together a list of recommended reading, listening, and watching. With that said, here is what Brian and I checked out this week.
Brian’s Random Thoughts:
Brian smokes the La Gloria Cubana Serie R Belicoso and gives us an excellent writeup as usual.
Cigar Advisor:
Our friend Gary Korb answers an email in regards to travel humidors and the foam trays they contain (think otterbox or eXtreme travel humidors).
Cigar Inspector:
JL Graham reviews the affordable Arturo Fuente Cuban Corona and finds it to be an excellent “bang for your buck” type cigar.
Cigar Jack:
Jesse poses the question “What do you want for Valentine’s day” and the readers come up with some interesting discussion. It may be a few days late but don’t hesitate to join in on the discussion.
Cigar Monkey:
Dan smokes the Indian Tabac 10th Anniversary Lancero and finds it to be a great smoke. I didn’t have quite the same result with the Robsuto, maybe the Lancero would be a little more to my liking.
Stogie Guys:
The Patrick’s announce their DC Area Smoke Out in Virginia.
The Box Press:
Kevin smokes the Bolivar Cuban Corona (made in Honduras) and tells us all about it.
Stogie Fresh 5:
Doc Stogiefresh smokes the Flor-de-Gonazalez 15 Aniversario for episode #103
Dog Watch Cigar Radio:
Dale gets over his cold and the guys are back at it again. Bob and Dale smoke the Montesino #1 Natural for episode #151 and as always put on an informative and entertaining show.
Gary Manelski of About.com:
Dr. Mitch Fadam reviews the H. Upmann Corona Major
Thanks again to Walt for linking to my article on foam-lined travel humidors. I appreciate the listing in your blogs column as well, and will do my best to reciprocate. You guys have some nice and sticky articles here, too.
Regards,
~Gary
