Off to the Philippines
Posted on April 11th, 2006 by Jerry
Well I’m off for the next two weeks. Going home to the Philippines. I really hope to check out the cigar scene and pick up some locally grown cigars to bring back and smoke. The history of the Philippines is so rich in Spanish lore. Ferdinand Magellan brought tobacco seeds from Cuba when he “discovered” the Philippines. The local people also killed Magellan but lets hope its not because he brought bad seeds to them.
While I’m gone, my good buddy Walt will be managing and contributing to the site. Thanks Walt!

Have a safe and enjoyable trip.
I’m looking forward to hearing about all about it when you get back. Should make for some interesting cigar stories
