Vintage 1982 Cerdan Welles Revisited

I slacked off this week, I’ll admit it. Often I put off doing my cigar review homework until the last couple of days before the normal Wednesday time slot. This week Tuesday evening rolled around and I realized that not only had I not worked on it, I didn’t even know what cigar I was going to review. I knew I had to do something a little different. In an attempt to wring the most possible productivity out of the evening (and some early morning hours), I decided to go video. Due to my crummy hardware and software, I don’t think I saved any time, or was any more productive. On the bright side, the folks who leave comments on my written reviews asking for video will be pleased. (Or have second thoughts about asking again in the future. Win-win.)

I decided it was time to have another look at the Vintage 1982 Cerdan Welles I reviewed back in August of last year. If you’re interested in more background on these smokes, check out that review.

As I explain in the video, I scored a box of these this past weekend for ten bucks in raffle tickets. And since I’ve lit up a few since then, I figure that qualifies as research. But lets not get tied up in the details of my slackery, instead, let’s have a look some rare Brian footage. Enjoy!

Cigar Stats:
Size: 7 1/2 x 42*
Wrapper: Connecticut
Binder: Dominican Republic
Filler: Dominican Republic
Smoking Time: 1 3/4 hours
Beverage: Water
Price: $40 a box
*Listed as 6 3/4 x 46

Last week’s contest winner is John Moccaldi! A fiver of is on it’s way!

  1. Awesome to see you in video! Nice review and I might have to look into getting some of these. Seems right up my alley for a nice morning/lunchtime smoke!

Any hints on where to find them?

    Mike

  2. Thanx stinky.

I thought they might be available other places rather than just direct 😉

If the wife ever loosens the damn purse strings I might snag a box for the hell of it!
