Camacho Corojo – Candela

A few days ago I was in my local cigar shop picking up some cigars for my fathers birthday. After picking up a few for him, I decided to get one for myself. In the back of the walk in humidor I came across a box of Camacho Corojo Candelas. Inside the box there was a single cigar remaining. I picked the cigar up and made my way to the register.

El Rey Del Mundo (Flor De Llaneza Maduro)

In my opinion, El Rey Del Mundo is one of those cigars that get overlooked when walking around your local shop. Its one of those classic names that never surprise you. Its an old stand by when it comes to cigars. The smoker knows what they are getting with each smoke. With so many new cigars on the market that provide complex and in depth flavors its easy to overlook them.…

Montecristo Peruvian (Especiale #2 – Maduro)

Last week (June 28th to be exact) I was at my local JR Cigars doing my normal lunchtime routine and who walks in? Former majority leader, Tom DeLay. I’m not a big political nut but I always find it interesting to see what kind of cigars famous people smoke. After Mr. DeLay played with his blackberry for a bit and took a stroll around the shop he settled on a Montecristo Peruvian (Especiale #2). The next day on the Club …

Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 (Torpedo)

These cigars came to me via a surprise route. store out in Denver CO were nice enough to send us a box of these guys. The store is called Whats Knot to Love and they are Denver’s Most Unique Cigar Shop. I’ve never ordered from these guys so I can’t vouch for how good their service is. But any store that will magically make a box of cigars appear on my doorstep without me doing anything can’t be all bad …

About a week ago I got a craving for a nice mild cigar. After looking through my humidor the other day, I realized that I was completely out of mild cigars. I took a second look through my humidor and decided to go with a Gurkha – Expedition Series. Of all the cigars I had available I think …

  • I'm convinced at this point, the 1878 line from @pdrcigars is the 'Best Bang for your Buck' in the PDR portfolio. Some of his more expensive cigars just arent as good as this budget stick.
  • Smoking my first Flores y Rodriguez. The Flores, Id imagine, refers to Abe Flores of Pinar Del Rio.
  • IMO Enclosed Foot = "Sorry Sir, I couldn't be bothered to trip up that tobacco so I just wadded it up for you."
  • Box looks great, although it could have used more dry-time. Has a mild stain smell about it.
  • Got a @StudioTobac Sampler in the mail. Looks good, eager to smoke through them.
  • @LaAuroraCigars 107 Corona and @CAOCigars OSA cutter, together in harmony.
  • Have a bunch of things to wrap. Having a cigar to keep me company.
  • Nomad Cigars and Yuengling - 1
  • Have a busy morning ahead of me. It is such tough work but someone has to do it.
  • It is a little "Partagas Serie D No. 4" looking but I like the idea if small batch cigars from @pdrcigars
  • Nothing says Good Mornin' like an @EPCarrillo Elencos
  • Figures, 9 out of 10 were awesome and my last one has a lousy burn and produces virtually no smoke on the draw.
