Camacho Select

Camacho Select

Way back in 2007, Walt originally reviewed the Camacho Select. Fast forward to 2010 and the Camacho Select has been through a packaging and blending change. I originally scored two boxes of these Camacho Selects for my silence on not revealing who was behind the Black Band Project.

Last year when I first smoked the Camacho Select it was unbearably awful from the start. It was on the level of 5 Vegas Miami Knuckle as far…

Romeo y Julieta Aniversario (Short Ashes)

Several years ago, I believe it was back around Christmas of 2006, I saw a sale on the JR Cigars website that I couldn’t pass up. The deal featured a gift box that included a ceramic Romeo y Julieta ashtray with a handful of cigars to go along with it. I believe there were a couple Romeo y Julieta Reserve Maduro, Reserva Real, 1875, and Aniversario.

At the time I was fond of the RyJ Maduro as well…

After a great start to the day and a few hours at Kensington Tobacconist smoking cigars with @BudPA and @Shing999,…

La Herencia Cubana

La Herencia Cubana

Thanks for everyone who voted for this week’s review on The Stogie Review Fan Forums. It was a tight race and the La Herencia Cubana was the dark horse and came out of no where to win it in the end. The La Herencia Cubana is another cigar from the stables of AJ Fernandez. Similar to the Man O’War series and the Disel Unholy Cocktail, it is only available from Cigars International and/or Cigar.com.
