IPCPR 2018:  Island Lifestyle Cigars

We visited with Ryan Frailing of Island Lifestyle Cigars about their new cigars and lighters. Their new cigar is a cost friendly cigar called the Island Club. They also release two new lighters. The first one is called the Rocker that is dual flame lighter with a 7mm punch built into the bottom retailing for $50. The other lighter is called the Longboard and is a triple pinpoint flame that will retail for $60.

Another new cigar that we were shown at the Agio booth was the San Pedro de Macoris. This is a more budget friend cigar available in two wrappers: Brazilian arapiraca and Ecuadorian Connecticut. The cigars are the daily smoker cigars for the workers in the factory and is named after the area where they are produced. They range from $4.75 to $5.50. They use original, non-hybrid Dominican piloto cubano Cuban seed tobacco which is rare to find nowadays.
