Check out Brian's review of the Gran Habano Azteca for details on how to win Cigars and Swag.
I’m excited! I finally beat Brian Hewitt to reviewing a cigar that he liked. Suck it Hewitt! Anyway, by now most of you have heard about the new releases by Toraño Family Cigars. The Master by Carlos Toraño is a collaboration between Charlie Toraño and master roller Felipe Sosa. Available in four sizes with the robusto coming in at under $6 a cigar. Going into IPCPR, the Master by Carlos Toraño wasn’t even on my radar. For…
Still going thru all the video we got at IPCPR…this time around we sit down with David Blanco of Los Blancos Cigars.
Finishing up our coverage from IPCPR we ran into Clint Aaron from 262 Cigars who brought us up to speed on Smoking the Revolution.
This thank you is way overdue. Many of you know our good friend Barry from acigarsmoker.com raised $500 for the 3rd Annual Smoke a JJ for JJ Day. Barry’s generosity inspired others like @CigarsThomas and the folks at Toasted Foot to donate an additional $250 each for The American SIDS Institute in JJ’s name bringing the donation to $1,000.
I knew Barry was planning on giving me the checks at IPCPR and during…
We’ve never interviewed Frank Herrera so when the opportunity came up at IPCPR we jumped all over it. Many of you know Frank from Twitter, his blog CigarLaw.com and of course his cigar line, La Caridad del Cobre. Frank was also a great supporter of the TBOTLCH and we wish him nothing but the best of luck.
Brian Hewitt has been touting the Carmelo Blue ever since he reviewed it last October. Walt and I got tired of hearing him go on and on and on and on about it so we tracked down their booth to find out more.
Back again is Danielle Hawthorne and she takes us Inside Davidoff, just like she did last year at IPCPR.
Its always fun and entertaining to sit down and talk with Pete. As always Pete has a lot of cool things up his sleeves this year and down the road. We talk about the new cigars he has for the show, monster series, out of costume series, saints, sinners and adopt a farm. Great stuff as always…and who doesn’t like red vine? LOL
In the grand scheme of things I haven’t been smoking very long. But since then (1996) I can’t remember a candela wrapper stirring so much buzz. Maybe it has to do with “who” is making this candela. When you think of boutique and unique cigars, Dion Giolito and his Illusione line is typically one of the first, if not the first, to be named. The Illusione ~hl~ is my favorite cigar in the Illusione line so imagine how…
Always style’n and profile’n we caught up with Matt Booth so he could tell us all about his new addition to the Room101 lineup with the Conjura Edition. Matt also shows off some his new lighters…what you don’t see is that we are being filmed as we filmed the interview. Apparently Matt has a film crew following him around for the next 6 months or so…I sure hope we don’t end up on the cutting room floor.
