Drew Estate & Joya de Nicaragua Event (plus giveaway)

I recently caught up with Kevin McCormack, sales rep for Drew Estate and Joya de Nicaragua, at a DE/JDN Double Shot Event hosted by Main Street Cigar in Bel Air, MD. Kevin and I talked about the latest releases from Drew Estate & Joya (including My Uzi Weighs A Ton, Undercrown, Dirty Rat, L40, and Feral Flying Pig), the big news of José Blanco joining JDN, and some Liga Privada merchandise. After watching the video, scroll to the end of this post for a chance to win some Drew Estate swag…

Also, be sure to check out the “deleted scenes,” in which Kevin showcases current offerings from Joya de Nicaragua, Natural by Drew Estate, Tabak Especial, ACID, Ambrosia, Isla del Sol, and Chateau Real.

Win this Drew Estate Logo Bulletproof Cigar Cutter! And since I’m not above bribing people to read my posts, I’ve got another giveaway for you, loyal StogieReview readers. This time, the prize is a Drew Estate Logo Bulletproof Cigar Cutter. All you have to do to enter is follow me on Twitter (if you’re not already), and send me a tweet (@greenbacker) saying which cigar from Drew Estate or Joya de Nicaragua is your favorite. As a special bonus, if I break 3000 followers on Twitter by the end of this contest (October 10), I’ll include an additional, secret cigar-related item in the winner’s prize pack.

Update (Oct 3, 2011 at 11:18AM): The folks at Drew Estate just contacted me to let you guys know that the Liga Privada Stinky Ashtrays mentioned in the video are now available at shop.drewestate.com.

  1. Nice job, Charlie.

I too, am eagerly awaiting the Undercrown.

Two posts and two giveaways. Quite a splashy debut! 🙂

Best of luck on getting to your “followers” goal. Unfortunately, I don’t tweet. 😛

  2. Isn’t MD Jerry’s turf? LOL…although I hear if its not W.Curtis Draper he doesn’t bother visiting…glad to see you jumping right in with the video content. What are you shooting with?

  3. Charlie – Nice videos man…thanks for sharing.

Vic – You’re killing me but there is some truth to what you say. I make no apologies that I’m a Draper guy through and through. I typically stay in the immediate DC Metro/Suburbs so Bel Air is more of suburb of Baltimore.

  4. My local B&M had their rep in a couple weeks ago. for Drew Estates/JDN like a few day after the anounment.

    Thanks the video.

  5. Hey a good review Charlie, I love The Drew Estae Liga Privada Pig Tail, No.9, T52, Dirty Rat and Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 Cigars. I wished the Drew Estate Liga Privada Cigars are cheaper that I would be smoked them more often.

  6. That ashtray would be a step up from my coffee can. Good video review, I can’t stand a cigar that keeps burning out. The reporter wouldn’t let him smoke though.
