Arturo Fuente Between the Lines (First Impressions)

Between the Lines - main.jpg

I am back yet again for your viewing pleasure. This time I have a first impressions of the Arturo Fuente Between the Lines cigar. I was gifted this cigar by Jason when Walt and I were at CigarFest this year.

I have to say, this is one of the nicest looking sticks I have seen in a while. Very nice lines for the barber pole design. I do not like the nipple on the end, but we will see how it goes.

These cigars seem to be released once a year around Christmas time so if you want any, snag them fast.

Here is a link to Brian Hewitt’s full review of this stick to give you more information if you would like.

Like the last review I did on short notice, I will let the video speak for me.

  1. Mike another great review. I will give this one a try if i can find for the 13.00 not the 35.00. Sounds like a great morning smoke with a nice mild coffee. Keep up the great work and thanks for the shout out.

  2. Heh heh…you said “nipple”…about 50 times! I’ve only had one of these once and then only because I didn’t spend my own money on it (I sat at a lunch table with a Fuente rep during Big Smoke 2007 and he gave us one of these as well as an Opus). It’s good, but I have trouble with calling it $13+ good. I think Burns in Chattanooga has some of these on the shelf still and I think they’re charging right around $16. Undeniably a beautiful cigar but I don’t buy them to look at and if I’m going to drop that kind of coin, I want something that just knocks my socks off.

Just a thought: if Jerry is going to keep slacking off, maybe you should just video yourself doing a bunch of these and keep them on hand so you can just upload them minutes after he calls or e-mails!

  3. Great review Mike. Loved the way you described the flavors, marshmallows, toasted coconut and chocolate, love those three so if I can find them in a cigar that will make for a perfect smoking experience.

  4. I thought this cigar was EXTREMELY bland, only worth getting for aesthetic reason imho, but glad you liked it.

  5. The Hemingway has been one of my favorite smokes for years. I’ve yet to try the “Between the Lines.” It’s hard to justify the price. I can’t seem to find it anywhere near the $13 a stick. It always seems to be around the $30 you mentioned. Great review!
