I know I am a bit late on my comment here, but I think that your review is spot on. I really like this cigar and might pick up a box while they are still available. Really complex, I honestly don't think I got all of the flavors that I could from this cigar and look forward to smoking some more. Thanks for the review and the suggestion!

Canola oil, hair gel and muscle rub? Are we talking about a cigar or a night in a sketchy bar in the bad part of town? I don't know where your cigar had been before you smoked it, but I'm not surprised your experience with it was a bad one.

Anyway, more for me.

"Something of this size might last a little over an hour in my opinion..." That tells me every thing I need to know. Enjoy your Padron. Friendly tip: cigarettes will deliver your nicotine faster. Just sayin'.

2 hours? At 14 bucks, I wish this stick would burn for 2 hours. Something of this size might last a little over an hour in my opinion, unless you're pretty much giving it a "peck on the cheek" everytime you draw. As an "Inaugural" cigar, E.P.C. is basically saying, "This is a taste of what you have to look forward to..." I really hope his cigars either get better, or cheaper - personally, I'd prefer better. btw ~ no hints of cotton candy and rainbows and unicorns...? What gives?! Gimme a Padron.

"By the end of the first third, my list of nuances included grass, earth, caramel, syrup, butterscotch, yam, graham, coffee and raisin". LOL
You left out french toast, radish, hair gel, canola oil and Ben Gay.
This stick needs some serious aging before I'd try it again. By then, maybe the buffet will be closed.
