I was a little slow in getting to this video. I think I was in the same boat as you until earlier this year. I had the same preconceived notion about the brand and was pleasantly surprised after smoking my first couple of Davidoff’s.

I’m not a fan of the Zino Classic line, but anything with the white Davidoff band has been a solid smoke. Some are better than others but none of them were, even remotely, “bad”.

If you don’t ever get a chance to meet the pope, at least you can tell your grandkids “Back in ’09 I smoked a Davidoff Colorado Claro (Special T)!”

Great review! I have never had a Davidoff in my life, just because of the price I am thinking of picking one up for a Christmas present to myself, but still have not decided which one. Hell, if I can find this one, maybe I will pull the trigger

Growing up I was taught that having the privilage to meet the Pope is the best it get’s……..not Jerry is putting a new twist on it by saying smoking this cigar is comparable to meeting the POPE! LOL, I love it!

Great review man. I actually have one in my humidor.
