Time for a Different Health Care Debate
The Great Torpedo here. Many of you know that I’m the Cigar Rights of America (CRA) Ambassador for the State of Maryland. Considering how many non-Marylanders Stogie Review reaches maybe I should be the CRA Ambassador of the Internet? LOL.
I wanted to share a link with you that was written by the Executive Director of CRA, Glynn Loope. Its the first post of a series that Glynn will be posting about how anti-cigar zealots twist facts and plain out lie by lumping cigars together with other forms of tobacco. Now, no one is saying that cigar smoking is 100% healthy…hell, nothing is 100% healthy but at least, lets get the facts straight.
As much as I’d like to jump onto that article and enjoy it, very little is refuted, and that which is is refuted with lines like ‘…suggests that percentages are substantially lower’ or whatever. I doubt that cigars are as bad for you as cigarettes (esp. in the 2nd hand), but I can’t really support an article without much textual support itself.
