Awesome Cigar. If you're in The Columbia, SC area we have them at The Cigar Box at 2910 Rosewood Drive. We have the Torpedo, Toro, and Churchill sizes left. EXCELLENT cigars!

I discovered the Los Imperialistas at a local shop earlier this week. The shopkeeper was smoking one and I asked him what it was. I have since smoked a couple of the ($9) toros... lovely cigar, in my opinion. Fortunately, no burn issues on my two smokes.

I enjoyed them very much and I plan to have more soon, though they are a bit more expensive that I want to spend on a regular smoke.

These are good--I've smoked a robusto and a torpedo--I didn't have a problem with the draw, but both burned slightly unevenly, so there may be some consistency/quality issues, but overall, a worthwhile smoke at this price, agreed.

As an aside, I've been informed (and can't confirm, because I'm not going to destroy one of these) that there is actually black pepper blended into them, and while I'm not sure I believe it or know what smoking black pepper is like, there's a strong hit of straight black pepper at different points of the smoke, undeniably. It's balanced, however, by the smooth leather and nut undertones and aftertaste.

I'll smoke more of them...

Having one of the torpedos right now, and the draw is pretty tight... It just must be the vitola. It does seem a little on the wet side as well.
