Smoking my first one of these now and haven’t noticed the drop off. Wish I had tried these sooner. These are awesome and the price isn’t bad either. I’m at my local BM hang out now and about to go purchase more.

I went to an EO event recently & Eddy insisted I try a lancero. After sampling the robusto, torpedo, toro & lancero, I think the lancero really emphasizes the best in this blend. Just my $.02..

I had the good fortune to win a box, though I wasn’t informed till a week later… So, of course, I choose the 30 count box of lanceros!!!

After a cookout on Saturday, I and a half doz others indulged in the new box – everyone agreed that these are fantastic!!!

Great review as always Walt! Sounds like a great cigar.

I also use the total toasting method to light my cigars. Dont no why really. Have just always done it that way.

Thanks for the credit on the total toasting method of lighting. I don’t know where I first learned of that, but it was about 10 years ago. I’ve used it ever since. As for the Cubao, I posted in the fan forum a week or so ago that the guys in my local B&M all found, as did I, that the 5.5 X 52 and the 6.1 X 50 shapes from two boxes all started out wonderfully and then totally tanked, the flavor and body dropping right out of them. It happened at exactly the 3/4 inch mark for all of us. The start was as good as it gets, then wham!, it was like somebody threw a switch and the flavor and body just went away to nothing. I hope that was limited to those boxes, because the initial flavors were wonderful. We’ll see.

Oh man, you’re making me regret my pledge not to buy any more cigars this year. Hmmm, may have to break down and get some, sounds like a great cigar and right up my alley.

Glad the audio adaptor worked out! Now of only I could get the sound in Ed/my reviews dialed in Thx for the mention though.

As I always say… thanks for the review. From the way you described it, this sounds like something I may like.
