I tried a box pressed one tonight. Very nice construction, perfect draw, quite strong but very well balanced and quite flavorful. I do prefer a it rounder cigars though, such as the Oliva Serie V Belicoso I has last night, but I'll happily smoke other LX2's in the future.

I know these cigars have been out for a while now but I just tried my first one. Luckily I didn't have any of the burn issues mentioned above. My cigar experience was great!!! Will definitely be buying a box of these for my humidor.

Sean, thanks for the update. That type of info., although disappointing, is very useful. Also, just letting people know old messages/reviews are still read/viewed well after they're posted.

Cheers

Update: Ive smoked 8 out of the box now. 4 were super great. 4 were super bad. 3 bads had the burn issues I describe above. 1 might have had burn issues, but I never found out, it wouldnt draw for the life of me, even after I poked it, cut it, re-poke, re-cut. I'm sadly disappointed. :(

Bought 2 singles from the local shop, first one was great all the way through, second one had significant burn issues, went out 3 times before I had to give up, even though I tried to puff often to keep it lit.

But... I liked the first one enough to order a box of Bellicoso's. Smoked one last night and it was great, just like the first. Superb full bodied consistent cigar all the way through.

I just finished the second one from the box, and it had the same burn issues as my second. The filler burned but the wrapper didnt want to. Had to cut and relight... 3 times. It finally went out at the 1/3 mark. ~sighs~ However, it was still a great tasting cigar, even with all the relights (which most cigars sour on).

Verdict: Love this cigar, if it would only stay lit! I will say this in justification - the box was recently shipped, so could be adjustment and not enough time in the humidor. I'll be smoking 18 more of these (as I own them!) I'll try to repost after more stogies are fired up.
