Nice review Walt. I like the Ashton Aged Maduro. I would say the Camacho El Legend-ario would be a nice less expensive alternative to this cigar although it might be slightly more spicy.

Great review as always Walt.

As far as the ugly wrappy, I find most of the VSG and ESG cigars to have very ugly veiny wrappers. I think it’s just an Ashton thing on their sun grown wrappers.

Great review Walt. Funny thing is, I smoked one of those last weekend and had the exact same weak ash issue. Kind of wierd really. I had pieces that would project out after the rest ashed so just kind of loosely packed is all I can figure. That being said, it had a nice smooth maduro flavor that was good and burned cool but I wouldn’t run out to buy them. Got them in a combo pack but I’m always happy to smoke an Ashton.

Good review, I smoked one of these a while back and i had no ash problems. I had some real sour/chemical flavors in the final third of mine, it was real bad. I chucked it.
