I know I’m raising an old post from the dead here, but I smoked one of the LFD Cameroon lanceros the other night and wanted to leave a comment.

First, I enjoyed your review and found my experience to be similar. Overall I’ve been very impressed with the DL lanceros that I’ve had and while I didn’t necessarily think this was better than the others, I did think it was just as good but in a different way. The balance exhibited by this cigar was great, no flavor was overly dominant, the strength matched the flavors perfectly, and overall I felt this was a very well made cigar. Of the La Flor cigars I’ve had, the lanceros share the top spot with the Cameroon Cabinet #1, which I also think is an exceptional cigar.

If we all liked the same stuff, there’s probably be a lot fewer cigars out there. I agree to disagree! LOL

No, that was the one and I hated and I tried the other one you mentioned and didn’t care for it either. Hey, I guess that’s why there is so many other brands out there.

Yep, tastes in cigars differ and this cigar has a pretty bold flavor. So if you don’t care for it, I’m not surprised you’d hate it by the end.

Just curious though, this Cameroon wrapped cigar looks exactly like the Ecuadorian one that’s widely available, was it this one you had? The flavors are significantly different between the two, so it’s entirely possible to hate one and like the other. (I’m thinking I like this one the best, but I like both.)
