Thanks for the link Silas, I'm looking forward to the new edition as well and it's nice to confirmation it's in the works. Keep in mind, this was written back in 2008, and the book has come in useful on numerous locations over the past three years.

Wow what a find. I just found this book at a cigar shop in Chicago. There was no price tag on it and the guy was moving so he said for me to make an offer. I offered him $20 and he took it. I now have this beautiful book to refer to while collecting Cuban cigars.

G'day from Sydney, Australia. I bought this magnificent book from the Australian website of Corporate Cigars. The price tag ($AUS129) is justified because the book is the Bible of Cuban cigars. Only a person with the utmost devotion to smoking, ageing and collecting Cuban cigars could have written this book. Yes, the book now being sold is the 2005 version of the 2003 original, with only the errors of the 2003 original being corrected in the 2005 version. However, there is a NEW edition in the pipeline. When and how much the new edition will cost is not known at this stage. Another publication that should be on the shelf of every Cuban cigar smoker is The Complete Guide for Habanos Enthusiasts, available from Cigars Unlimited (UK). This is Cuba's official (Habanos) compendium of every Cuban cigar in the world today. Comes complete with the informative booklet - Cultivating a Tradition of Perfection - effectively presenting two books for the price of one! Also, there is a ring gauge chart and giant poster of all the sizes of cigars in production. A definitive publication for any self-respecting aficionado. The compendium costs 35 English pounds. Enjoy :)
