Your Questions, My Answers (YQMA) Episode 30

Welcome back for another Episode of Your Questions, My Answers Episode 30. Just like last time, I’ve broken the show down into three segments all with separate video for your watching convince. This time around Walt and Brian are joined by Tom and Ed.

Segment 1

Question 1 from Andrew and Rebecca via Contact Form

La Flor Dominicana Cameroon Cabinet

Not sure what happened with the lighting and the quality for this video. I shot it the same way I did the Arganese and that didn’t turn out too bad. I guess these energy saving bulbs aren’t ideal for recording videos. Teaches me to try to be green and lower my carbon footprint.

You know me, I’m not big on typing but our own Brian Hewitt loves to type and he reviewed the Cameroon Cabinet #5 back in September…

Check this out – Week 11 (2008)

In keeping with the trend, we thought it would be a good idea to put together a list of recommended cigar reading, listening, and watching. With that said, here is what we have checked out this week.

Brian’s Random Thoughts:
Brian reviews a rather unusual cigar, the Olor Del Cibao Cuban Seed Tequila. Yep, it’s infused with Tequila, and surprisingly, isn’t half bad for a flavored cigar.

Cigar Bobken Cup Holder Ashtray

I know what you’re thinking. You wondering what the heck a “Bobken” is. The only answer I can find is that it’s the name of the cup holder ashtray that I’m about to review. But still, it sounds really familiar doesn’t it? That could be because you’re thinking about the old English minced oath “Odds Bodkins”. Confused? Excellent, let’s get on with the review.

The subject of todays review was an impulse buy that didn’t wind up taking up permanent…

Indian Tabac Split Decision Quad Toro

One look at this week’s cigar and you’ll know why I picked it for a review. I’m a bit of a sucker for a cool looking cigar. And short of a culebra, it’s hard to find a cigar that looks cooler than a barber pole. And this week’s cigar isn’t just any barber pole. The Indian Tabac Split Decision Quad Toro is barber pole to the fourth power.

So unlike many cigars I’ve reviewed, there’s no real story behind this…

Pairing Coffee and Cigars: Science or Serendipity?

I’m often asked by acquaintances about pairing cigars and coffee. I suppose that stands to reason since I happen to be a cigar enthusiast who makes his living tasting and roasting coffee. The first few times I was asked this I basically drew a blank. While coffee has certainly been my beverage of choice while enjoying a cigar I hadn’t given a lot of conscious thought to my pairings. The repetitive question eventually forced me to sit down and give…
