To this day the green and the blue are among the best pepin/Nicaraguan sticks on the market. Always consistent. I think these 2 embody the pepin signature spice. If that's what you crave, either will deliver. I'd actually like to see you revisit this one for a short ashes review Walt, just to get your thoughts on how its held up.

I recently bought a fiver of each label before they merge with Rocky. I smoked the green label Tronco last night. I think of Fenway Park because this thing was the green monster. It was so damn spicy and powerful it was incredible. I usually retrohale every puff, but with this one....I had to blow my nose if i did that. LOL :)

Absolutely my current favorite. Rich, complex and full. I take my time with when I smoke, so I've never found it to be overpowering. As long as the money holds out, I'll keep some in the humidor. Thanks for the great review.

I got one of these in a sampler, and have since tracked down every 601 Green Label I can find. The Tronco is a great size. I smoked a Trabuco and it was almost too much for me. This is the first stick I've found that can hold it's own against a La Flor Double Ligero.

This has become my new cigar of choice. I love the rich coffee flavor without any bitterness at all. Since I smoke med-full cigars, this was a little stronger then most but I have been converted to full bodied from now on. I would highly recomend this smoke to any.
