In my experience these needs some aging before they get any good. First time I had one it was very harsh and the after taste was bitter and rough. A few days ago I tried another one from the same box and it was a totally different smoke, very creamy and harmonic. So give the naturals at least 3 months and I guess the Maduro could rest a bit longer and you will have a very nice smoke and worth the price. So if the puros Indios can rest a few months they are a good bang for the buck.

I agree with you that towards the end this stogie is quite woodsy. A great brew to pair up with this stogie is "Leinenkugels Creamy Dark Ale"
