Check out Brian's review of the Gran Habano Azteca for details on how to win Cigars and Swag.
Well folks, here it is! My humidor in all its glory! Purchased from my local JR Cigars shop in August 2004 this beauty has seen cigars, of all shapes and sizes, from all walks of life, come and go. There are many humidors like it but this one is mine (please allow time for the page to render since the pictures are somewhat big).
Yesterday I was just hanging around the house trying to avoid going out into the heat to cut the lawn, when I started thinking about taking a ride down to a cigar shop down in Exton, PA. I didn’t want to take the forty five minute ride all way down there so I decided to try a new cigar shop I’ve past a few times on my way to class.

I was reading the latest post by Al Remp on Cigar Blog 101 and realized that it had been too long since I have rotated the cigars in my humidor. My wife will attest to how lazy I can be. I spent my Friday evening going thru my box. It was while I was rotating that I came across the Perdomo…

Last night I was hoping to get in a pair or reviews. The idea was to start off with something mild then move on to something stronger so that the flavors wouldn’t be too conflicting. I wound up only having time to have one cigar. The cigar I went with was an Alec Bradley -“ Havana Sungrown, Robusto size.

Last night I went out to dinner with my girlfriend, and a couple that my girlfriend is very close with. When I got home I just felt like a beer and a good cigar, so that’s just what I did. I poured myself a cold glass of Yuengling and started to dig through my overfilled cooler of cigars. I pulled out a Famous Nicaraguan 3000 Robusto. This…

Thursday night I got home early from class and decided to have a quick smoke. After digging around in the cooler I found that I still had an entire five pack of Perdomo – Estate Selections left from a sampler I ordered last month. Being one of the few cigars I haven’t had from the sampler I ordered I decided to give it a shot.

I’ve been on a bit of a Maduro kick as of late, so sticking with the trend I decided to go with a Gurkha – Double Maduro. The wrapper on this stick stands out the most. The wrapper is an excellent deep brown that has a very appealing sheen.
I was going to use my trusty plug cutter on this one until I realized that the…

Introduced in 2005, the Henry Clay Honduran is a new stick from an old school brand. Henry Clay is one of the brands mentioned in Rudyard Kipling’s cigar poem The Betrothed as Kipling writes There’s peace in a Larranaga, there’s calm in a Henry Clay.
The Henry Clay Honduran isn’t one of the most attractive cigars out there. The band and the stick are pretty unexciting to look…
